MANAGER John Hill says his Halesowen Town players are brimming with confidence due to their recent run of results.

The Yeltz continued their fine form by knocking fellow Northern Premier side Blyth Spartans out of the FA Trophy on Tuesday night. It means they have now lost just two of their last 11 games.

Hill said: "It is a very confident group now. Winning football games does that and it is great to see.

"The players now have the self belief that they belong in this division. There is no reason why we can't continue to go from strength to strength."

Goals from in-form hitman Ben Haseley and Joe Hull gave the Yeltz a 2-0 replay success over Blyth after last Saturday's 1-1 away draw.

Haseley's strike was his 101st for the club after reaching the major milestone just a few days before.

Hill said: "No one had any doubts that Ben Haseley would be able to continue to score goals at this level. Like the team, he has had to work hard early in the season but is now getting his rewards.

"He is a great lad to have around the place and is really starting to show what he can do at this level."

Hales will look to continue to show their progress following last season's promotion when they travel to face Trafford this Saturday.

The Yeltz have welcomed back first team coach Kevin Barry following his stint away with the RAF.
