UNDEFEATED Halesowen boxer Lennox Clarke will go in search of silverware when he steps into the ring next month.

Super Middleweight Clarke can secure a British Bronze Masters Title when he tops the bill on Black Country Boxing’s ‘Triple Threat’ three-fight show at Banks’s Stadium on Saturday, February 21.

The 23-year-old faces Trowbridge’s Dan Blackwell over eight three-minute rounds with a chance to land his first title.

He has blazed a trail of destruction through the super middleweight scene, recording six consecutive victories since turning professional in 2013, including three knock outs.

“Dan Blackwell is game and he comes to have the row which is good for me,” said Clarke. “I watched him fight my mate, Andy Robinson, and he gave him a good test so I expect him to do the same for me. At the end of the night though, I will be the winner.”

He will be joined on the bill by Des Bowater and Kieron McLaren.

Stablemate Bowater (6-0), is joint top of the bill as he too goes in search of a British Bronze Masters Title. The Wolverhampton super featherweight takes on Leicester’s Lewis ‘2 Slick’ Jones.

“A title fight is what I have wanted for a while now and I can’t wait to get back in the ring,” he added. “I’m an exciting fighter. It’s going to be a war with lots of punches thrown and hopefully a knockdown in this one.

“I’m confident I can adapt to whatever style he fights with. This will be my first eight rounder and people will get their monies worth that’s for sure.”

Completing ‘Triple Threat’ is Stoke light welterweight, Kieron McLaren (3-0). The 21-year-old takes on Tamworth’s Matt Seawright over six two-minute rounds.
