MANAGER Tony Gore says he is feeling "deflated" as he faces another rebuilding job at Dudley Sports.

Dudley have lost around eight players since the end of last year and Gore is despondent at the lack of loyalty in the game.

He said: "We took a chance on some of the lads and worked really hard to make sure we recruited well in the summer.

"Then, as soon as the season is up and running, players decide they want to play elsewhere.

"There is no loyalty anymore. I'm deflated by the situation but we have to move on."

Sports' game at home against local rivals Gornal Athletic was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch last Saturday as they looked to bounce back from the previous weekend's defeat to Shifnal.

They were due to take on Wellington Amateurs away last night before going to Cradley Town this Saturday as they look to end a five game winless streak.

"There is still plenty to play for," added Gore. "We are in the league cup quarter-final and can still get a top ten finish. It will just take time because we have had to play with a weakened side in recent weeks and players now need to get used to playing together all over again."
