CHAIRMAN Steve Austin was left to rue missed chances as Dudley Town lost 3-2 at home to Wolverhampton Casuals last Saturday.

Twice the Robins came from behind before eventually succumbing to a winner from the visitors with ten minutes left on the clock.

An Adam Wright strike and a Shawn Devonport penalty had given them a chance of building on last Wednesday's 0-0 draw at the Dell against second-placed AFC Bridgnorth.

Austin said: "It was all about missed chances. We should have put the game out of site but didn't make the most of our opportunities.

"We were missing defender Ben Johnson and captain Alex Perry from the Bridgnorth game, but that is in no way an excuse for the loss.

"Our aim now is to keep plugging on. The draw against Bridgnorth was very encouraging and we need to build on that."

Dudley are set to take on in-form Pegasus Juniors away this Saturday. The hosts have lost just once in six games and held league leaders Sporting Khalsa to a 0-0 draw last weekend.
