STOURBRIDGE and Tividale could go head-to-head in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Glassboys have been drawn away against the winners of this Saturday's preliminary round clash at The Beeches between neighbours Tivi and Hanley Town.

The first qualifying round tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 12 at 3pm, subject to final confirmation.

Tividale play one division below Stourbridge in the Evo-Stik League NPL Division One South.

Having been promoted from the Midland Alliance as Champions just over a year ago, they finished a highly creditable eighth place at their first attempt.

The Glassboys last met Tividale in the FA Cup as long ago as 1989/90, when Stour were 3-1 prelminary round winners at the Beeches, before losing 2-0 at Lye Town in the next round.

Stourbridge and Hanley Town have not previously met in any competition.

Meanwhile, Halesowen Town have been drawn at home to fellow Northern Premier League side Mickleover Sports.
