SKIPPER Danny Cox will make changes to Old Hill's line-up for this Saturday's crunch clash with Bridgnorth.

The Haden Hill outfit are still looking for their first win this season ahead of the match against their ninth-placed visitors.

Old Hill's run without a win was extended to eight games after a five-wicket defeat against Brockhampton last Saturday.

However, a team shake-up has seen both wicket-keeper Dan Brosnan and Zain Shahid leave the club this week.

Second team keeper Stephen King and recent arrival Joe Samuels will step up to replace them.

Cox said: "A shake-up was needed and will be happening this week. Some players have been struggling for form this year and it means others will come in.

"Dan and Zain have both left by mutual consent. Dan has been fantastic for us for the last four years and I'm also good friends with Zain. Both go with our best wishes for the future.

"Stephen King has done well for the seconds and Joe Samuels is good at fielding and can bat. He will bring enthusiasm and is someone that breeds enjoyment for the game."

Against Brockhampton, Old Hill were bowled out for just 65 after being put into bat by the visitors. Monil Patel top scored with only 19, The hosts did cause problems with the ball as Nigel Davenport struck early.

But 37 from opener Henry Langford helped ease Brockhampton to their total by the 17th over.

Cox said: "It was very frustrating. It was a difficult day on a wet wicket.

"I still think with 30 more runs we'd have had a big chance.

"I still think we have a better side than last season but it just hasn't happened for us yet.

"A couple of wins could lift us up to min-table. We have had too many games hit by the weather and haven't been able to get up a head of steam. Hopefully that will change soon."
