HALESOWEN’S Gabriella Homer secured a bronze medal at the the British Cycling National Youth and Junior Track Championships in Derby.
The event took place in the East Midlands from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5.
Homer, who is a member of Wolverhampton Wheelers Cycling Club, joined with teammate April Tacey, who is from Leicester Road Club, to win a bronze medal in the Madison event at the velodrome.
She has also won the Women’s Summer Stourport Series cycling event, despite being only 15 years old.
Homer is now preparing to represent the West Midlands in this year’s School Games in September.
She will also take on the track inter-regionals at the end of September at the Newport Velodrome in Wales.
