STOURBRIDGE will look to make it five wins in succession when they travel to Matlock Town this Saturday.

The Glassboys will return to Northern Premier League action after booking their place in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup with victory at Peterborough Sports last weekend.

However, despite Stour building momentum in recent weeks, manager Gary Hackett is determined his players will stay focused and concentrate on the task at hand.

He said: "It is nice to put a few wins together but we will only worry about the next game. We won't look too far ahead or take anything for granted.

"This league is very competitive and every game is difficult, especially if you're not focused.

"Matlock won't be an easy place to go, as we found out last year. They have started reasonably well and we need to make sure we are fully prepared."

The Glassboys came from behind against Peterborough last Saturday to progress to the next round of the FA Cup and book an away clash against fellow Northern Premier League side Mickleover Sports.

The second qualifying round tie is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 17 at 3pm.

A strike from Dan Scarr cancelled out Avelino Vierra's opener for the hosts before goals from Luke Benbow and Tom Tonks won the game.

Tonks' strike from the half way line to clinch the win proved a highlight of the round. The midfielder nipped in to intercept the ball, looked up and lobbed the ball expertly over the keeper and into the net.

Hackett added: "It was a tough tie but our attitude was spot on.

"All three goals were very good and Tom's was outstanding. It is one thing seeing the chance but another thing executing it. We are all delighted for him.

"The strike also came at a vital time in the game as well.

On the draw against Mickleover, the boss added: "It would have been great to get a home game against lower opposition but you can't always have it that way.

"It's a winnable game and one that we can go and perform well in."
