DUDLEY Sports’ winless run extended to nine games with defeat at rivals Cradley Town last Saturday.

Sports lost 3-0 despite fielding a host of new arrivals as manager Tony Gore looks to guide his side away from the lower reaches of the West Midlands Premier League.

Chris Likibi, Owen Osbourne, Hamilton Chiwara and Haden Smith all made their debuts for the club at the Beeches but Dudley were without the absent Tom Watkins and injured Josh Taylor.

Sports also saw Curtis Cocking and Luke Williams leave the club last week. Gore said: “It wasn’t a good week for the club but we need to regroup and go again.

“We dominated the first half against Cradley but again gave away two poor goals.

“The new players need time to bed in a little but hopefully we can start to head in the right direction. There are positives to take from the game.

“We need a win to boost confidence and look to build from there.”

Sports don’t have a game this Saturday and will return to action in the Mid-week Floodlit Cup at Willenhall Town next Wednesday.
