CRADLEY Town completed a comprehensive 5-1 triumph over West Midland League whipping boys Gornal Athletic to climb clear of the Premier Division's bottom three.
Geoff Hill headed Cradley into an early lead before full back Darren Whitley soon walloped home a second goal.
Gornal managed to grab a consolation goal just before half time through McCaullie O'Connor but Cradley effectively settled the issue just after the hour mark when Liam Morris put Hill in the clear for his second goal.
Croatian striker Dreniz Bala then bagged a late brace, heading home from a Scott Stevenson corner before making it 5-1 when set up by substitute Danny Crudgington.
Prior to the game Cradley boss Andy Wyton signed Gornal's Anthony Cox, who came on against his former side in the second half.
He has also added former Dudley Town player Nicky Faux to his squad while Brett McGilligan has returned following injury.
Wyton has also recruited UEFA B licenced coach Wayne Mundon to his staff.
Mundon has worked with local professional club academies and will also operate at Cradley as assistant manager.
Cradley host high flying Ellesmere Rangers this Saturday.
