STOURBRIDGE go in search of promotion glory at Spennymoor Town this Saturday.

The Glassboys will make the long trip to County Durham for the Northern Premier League play-off final (3pm kick-off).

Spennymoor defeated Nantwich Town 2-0 at Brewery Field on Tuesday night to join Stour in the final following the Glassboys' thrilling 3-2 extra time win at home to Workington on Monday.

It means Saturday's clash will see the league's second and third placed teams go head-to-head for the right to join champions Blyth Spartans in the Vanarama National League North next season.

Both league encounters between Stourbridge and Spennymoor this campaign have finished all square.

A much-changed Glassboys squad battled to a 2-2 draw at Spennymoor in November.

Stuart Pierpoint put Stourbridge ahead in the first half, but we had to rely on Brad Birch for an equaliser shortly after two goals in two minutes from Rob Ramshaw and Graeme Armstrong had turned the game around for the Moors.

The return match at the War Memorial Ground just before Christmas saw Drew Canavan's free kick deep into stoppage time salvage a vital point for Stour, cancelling out Mark Anderson's header just before the hour.

Fans unable to make the long trip to Spennymoor will be able to follow all the action with the News' live match updates.

We will be online from 2.30pm with breaking team news before providing updates of the action from kick-off.
