TIVIDALE manager Dave King wants his players to enjoy the busy final weeks of the season.

Dale are still in contention to secure a dream title success but have ground to make up on current leaders Wolverhampton Sporting Community.

However, they also face a gruelling run-in with 13 league games to fit in by May 3. Their schedule was made tougher due to last Saturday's trip to AFC Bridgnorth again falling victim to the difficult conditions.

King says there is no pressure on his players after an unexpected season fighting at the top of the West Midlands Premier League.

"We'll be playing with smiles on our faces," declared the boss at the Beeches.

"No one expected us to be where we are and we have to remember how far we have come.

"All we can do is worry about ourselves and to make sure we keep picking up those wins.

"If Wolverhampton Sporting do slip up then we want to be in a position to take advantage."

Tividale are due to face Ellesmere Rangers in the Premier Cup on Tuesday night before hosting neighbours Dudley Sports this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

"It will be a tough game against Dudley because they have picked up recently," added King. "They have had some good results and it's a derby game too so we'll need to be focused."

The boss said he'll rotate his players for the run-in but has also made an approach to add one more to the squad.

Dale have no injury concerns but Joe Lawley will serve a one-match bad against Sports unless the Ellesmere clash beats the waterlogged conditions.
