BLACK Country Rangers hammered Hereford Lads Club 6-1 to continue their quest for a top three finish in this season's West Midland League Premier Division.

Goals flowed in from Keiron Clarke, Shaquille Whittingham, Matt Vaughan, Brad Lawley and substitute Romelo Coleman, while Hereford's Adam Cuthbertson supplied an own goal.

Black Country travel to Cradley Town this Saturday before entertaining title favourites Wolves Sporting Community on Tuesday at Halesowen Town.

Black Country then complete their league campaign on Thursday when they travel to arch rivals Tividale.

But they'll be no let up for Black Country as they then face Tividale again on May 12 in the Premier League Cup semi-finals.

Spokesman Andy Harris said: " We won't be at full strength for the semi-final as several of our players will be appearing for Sunday side Saltley at West Bromwich Albion's ground.
