GORNAL Athletic chief Kevin Williams says he'll take his time to appoint the club's new manager.

The Peacocks are looking for a new boss after Matt Fisher stepped down before the end of the season after an inconsistent campaign in West Midlands League Division One.

Chairman Williams has already received 10 applications but has set the deadline at the end of the month.

He said: "We have plenty of time to sort it and we are still inviting applications until the end of the month. Then we'll start interviewing and can hopefully get someone in ready for pre-season.

"So far we have had a mix of people with plenty of experience to please with no experience at all."

Anyone interested in applying for the role is asked to email k.williams880@btinternet.com.
