CRADLEY Town chairman Trevor Thomas has announced his team will welcome Kidderminster Harriers to The Beeches during pre-season.
Thomas said the dates for the friendly against the Harriers, as well as ties against other big names, including Rushall Olympic and Worcester City, will be announced in due course.
He said: “I’m really pleased that the sides have agreed to these games. It’s all about trying to help each other.
“Football at a local level is in a difficult financial time at the moment, and the bigger clubs coming down to help clubs at our level really does help.
“Not just financially though, it also builds links which helps the development of future prospects.”
The Hammers are still on the hunt for a new boss after Ashley Vincent left the role without taking charge of a single game.
Vincent had agreed to become the boss for the next campaign in March but has instead decided to join Worcester City as assistant manager.
