OLDBURY United boss Chris Butts is looking forward to making more progress when West Midlands League Division Two get back underway.
Butts took charge of the side a quarter of the way through last season before United ended the campaign in mid-table.
Oldbury, who reformed in 2017 and will be playing at Thimblemill Rec, Smethwick, for the 2018/19 season, hope for more improvement this term.
Butts said: "We have a sizeable squad now and I think the club's name helps attract players.
"We're still looking at a few trialists but I'm happy with the ability of the squad overall.
"Our aim is to be challenging at the top end of the league. We've had a few friendlies and are well prepared."
