A DEPLETED Himley side edged closer to the Birmingham and District League Division One dropzone after defeat against Bridgnorth.
Himley, who were missing a host of key men, including skipper Greg Wright, were bowled out for 157 after being put into bat by their visitors to Stourbridge Road last Saturday.
Arunveer Bhogal, batting at seven, top scored with an unbeaten 41.
Bridgnorth opener Adam Quiney (47) and Charlie Morris (43) helped their side to a four-wicket win.
Himley now sit just 24 points ahead of second-from-bottom Brockhampton after they picked up a valuable win at Tamworth.
Himley will look to bounce back when they welcome bottom side Wellington this Saturday (noon start).
