DELIGHTED Dudley Sports boss Tony Gore has challenged his players to reproduce the performance that saw them beat Cradley Town last Saturday.

Sports bagged a 4-2 away victory over the Hammers to move to sixth place after fine start to the new West Midlands Premier League season..

A hat-trick from Tony Bayai and a Liam Timms strike sealed the success.

Gore said: "We were superb throughout and could have had about 10 goals with the amount of chances we created.

"It's been a good start to the season now and we've only had one blip with a patched up side at Black Country Rangers.

"We were superb on Saturday and it was really pleasing because we haven't got much change from Cradley over the last few years.

"Even though we have played well the players have still had to show a lot of character at times due to when Cradley got their goals.

"The players have set the standard now and the challenge is about replicating that moving forwards."

Dudley were further boosted this week when Matt Hanson returned to the club.

Sports don't have a game this Saturday but play Smethwick Rangers away on Bank Holiday Monday.

Kieron Price, Emile Becford and Jamie Parker could all return for Monday but Keannan Dunkley is still recovering from a broken nose.
