BLACK Country Rangers continued their perfect start to the season with critical victories over close rivals Hereford Lads and Tividale.
Goals from Jamal Fuller and Liam Hughes put Rangers 2-0 up against the Lads who pulled a goal back just before half time, but couldn't avoid losing out 2-1.
Monday' s match at Tividale saw both sides putting their 100 per cent starts on the line.
Kieron Clarke fired Rangers in front direct from a free kick after goalkeeper Richard Kennedy had earlier saved a penalty.
But Rangers were reduced to 10 men early in the second half after Jamal Fuller was given his marching orders.
That didn't stop Rangers from going 2-0 up through new signing Roland Agbor, the former Kidderminster Harrier arriving at Rangers from Halesowen Town.
Tividale clawed a goal back when Dan Smith scrambled home but Rangers held on to win 2-1 and make it six of the best this season.
Rangers spokesman Andy Harris said: "Roland wasn't getting a game at Halesowen, but he knows several of our players and that's where the link came from."
Rangers have no fixture this week as they have been handed a bye in the FA Vase.
