The incredible conveyor belt of top class performers coming out of Earls Gymnastic Club seems to be going from strength to strength after Harry Caulwell was called up to the British Elite performance squad.
The talented nine-year-old only got involved in the sport 18 months ago but his un-tapped potential was immediately spotted by head coach Michelle Bradley.
The Lutley Primary School pupil now trains up to 25 hours a week at the club and his hard work paid dividends in May, when he finished fourth in the U10s section at the Elite National event in Newcastle.
This performance has now earned the 2016 Olympic hopeful one of only four places in the British Elite performance squad.
This will require Harry to attend an eight-week long training camp at Lilleshall National Sports Centre Coach Michelle Bradley said: “I’m very proud that the hard work and commitment has paid off.
“Harry is following in the foot steps of other international gymnasts Ryan Bradley and Kristian Thomas who have come from this club.”
