STOURBRIDGE FC's blue-riband friendly with Mansfield Town has been cancelled at the eleventh hour.
The Glassboys were due to host the Conference outfit at the War Memorial tonight but will instead face Midland Alliance side Causeway United, after Mansfield said they were unable to fulfil the fixture due to a sickness bug.
Club secretary Clive Eades said: "I had a phone call from Mansfield this morning informing me they would not be travelling.
"We are obviously all bitterly disappointed.
"It meant a lot of running around but thankfully Causeway have agreed to step in at the last minute."
Entrance prices for tonight's game have been slashed to £2 for adults and £1 for pensioners. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
