STOURBRIDGE motocross star Adam Wells clinched the British Masters MX2 title in fine style.
Wells topped the qualifying at Swindon’s Foxhills track and finished second in race one on Saturday, before a fine victory in race two extended his lead to 39 points.
Torrential rain led to treacherous conditions on Sunday but Wells held his nerve to bring the Underdog Racing Honda home third and second in races three and four.
This sealed the title with 974 points scored over five rounds. Emerson Jones finished second overall with Aidan Wigger third.
Wells is rewarded with a trip to the International Dirtbike Show for the winners presentation in November.
