Himley remain on course in Floodlit T20

HIMLEY remain in pole position to qualify for the Black Country Floodlit T20 final.

The hosts made it two wins from two last night with a six wicket victory over Stourbridge.

In the other game, holders Wolverhampton kept alive their interest with a final ball win over Brewood.

Himley can make sure of their spot in Friday’s showpiece final with a win against Brewood tonight but all four teams could still qualify.

If the hosts are beaten, a victory for Wolverhampton over Stourbridge would still see them through.

However, a Wolves win would see all three teams tied on four points and the final positions decided on net run rate.

Stourbridge’s hopes rest on beating Wolverhampton and Himley then beating Brewood.

The action gets underway at 5.30pm.
