CAUSEWAY United continued their rich vein of form by eclipsing second placed Alvechurch 3-2 — a result which takes them upto fourth place in the Midland Alliance this week.

Manager Andy Mole said: “It should have been 3-0, but our goalkeeper dropped a couple.”

Jack Pearlman levelled matters with an over the shoulder shot before Johvan Blake-Walker smashed home twice to seal the points.

Mole added: “Both Johvan’s shots were unstoppable. They were efforts that either break the net or finish up at the back of the car park.”

Causeway clash with league rivals Continental Star this Sunday in the FA Vase (3pm) at The Grove and then entertain Tividale in the League Cup on Tuesday.

Mole said: “We went out of the FA Cup a bit prematurely, but we’re much better now.”

However Mole is still missing key players Carl Gardiner, Arrun Lloyd and Matt Aston.
