DUDLEY Sports suffered a second defeat in the space of four days when crashing at home 3-2 against local rivals Cradley Town.

Sports lost out to a 95th minute winner from Matt Vaughan, having clawed their way back level right at the end of 90 minutes with a goal from Dominic Strevens.

Sports joint-boss Tony Gore said: “It was a real sickener - but I felt a number of decisions went against us all night.

“I felt we should have been given two blatent penalties - but that said, the referee didn’t concede three goals. we did.”

Chris Bladen converted the other two goals for Cardley while Tividale loanee Dan Evans supplied Sports’ opening goal.

Tenant Smethwick Rangers put one over their landlords Sports thisd week as well when they defeated them 1-0.

James Beadle blasted home a wonder goal from 30 yards out to seal Smethwick’s success and Gore claimed: “It was the one bit of quality from the game.

“We’ve told Smethwick, that if they beat us again, we’ll put their rent up!
