CAUSEWAY United have clinched a trip to Leicester based side Blaby and Whetstone from the East Midland Counties League in the FA Vase Third Round as reward for beating Dudley Town 4-1.

The tie is set to take place on December 7 and Causeway boss Andy Mole claimed: "It's a good draw for us, playing someone from a lower level.

"I've never been to Blaby before, but I certainly don't mind going there. It's a great deal better than going to Whitley Bay!

Mole, who revealed he'd spent Sunday morning rolling Halesowen Town's pitch to get the game played admitted:

"I had a bit of a go at the players during half time. I knew Dudley Town would come at us for the opening 20 minutes, but I was concerned with the manner in which we kept giving away the ball in dangerous areas".

Mole also singled out substitute Wisden Machanghani who came on just before half time and scored Causeway's crucial second goal.

Mole claimed: "I don't quite know how he does it, but he always does something that effects the game!
