TIVIDALE'S title credentials are set to be put to the test when they face a major fixture pile-up in the coming weeks.

Second-placed Tivi now have a spell that sees them play six games in just 12 days, with current Midland Alliance leaders Quorn being welcomed in the middle of the busy schedule.

After last night's derby against rivals Gornal Athletic, they are now due to play Kirby Muxlow at home tomorrow (7.45pm ko), Quorn at home on Saturday (3pm ko), Shepshed Dynamo away next Tuesday (7.45pm ko), Wolverhampton Casuals away next Thursday ( 7.45pm ko) and Causeway United away on Saturday, March 22 (3pm ko).

However, team secretary Leon Murray is not fazed by the prospects of so many games in such a short period of time.

He said: "We are not worries about it because we have a good squad that is fit and injury free. We're confident we will be able to cope.

"It will be a test for us but if we come out of it with some good results we will be in a very strong position."

Tividale are hoping to bounce back to form after they drew 1-1 last Saturday away to Dunkirk.
