DUDLEY Sports need to start turning draws into wins, says boss Tony Gore.

His side has claimed a point from four of the last six games as they look to stay clear of a West Midlands League relegation scrap.

They picked up another point when drawing 1-1 away to Wednesfield last Saturday thanks to a late penalty from Justin Nixon. Even though a draw was a good result for Dudley, it is an area Gore thinks his side could improve to their advantage.

"We played really well on Saturday and because those around us lost, a draw proved to be a good result. We have drawn a lot of our games recently so it is something we need to look at improving. If we can turn some draws into wins it will really help our points tally at the end of the season," he said.

Dudley Sports were set to face Wellington at home last night and will take on Bilston at home on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Team Dudley are preparing for a derby clash with Wrens Nest at The Dell this Saturday (3pm ko).

Both teams are keen to finish in the top two to gain promotion from the West Midlands League Division 2.
