DUDLEY Sports boss Tony Gore has praised his players after they recorded three wins on the bounce.

After a 2-1 away cup win against Bilston Town last Wednesday, Sports then chalked up back-to-back league wins. They beat Bromyard 3-1 away last Saturday before a 3-1 home victory against Ellesmere Rangers.

Gore was full of praise for his side and reflected on what he thinks has been a very good season now they only have a few games left to play.

He said: "It has not been easy to put a side together in recent weeks due to injuries and other absences so I can't praise they players enough for how they have performed.

"They have shown a good attitude and lots of commitment and desire. It really was important we finished the season well and built up some momentum, so I'm delighted with the last three wins.

"It has been a good season for the club and we have achieved a lot considering we are up against teams with big budgets. We now have something to build on for next season if we can keep some of the players we have."

Dudley will look to continue their fine form when they travel to take on Wolverhampton Sporting Community on Tuesday, April 29.
