THE economic downturn has now hit Halesowen Town with chairman Martin Kearns resigning form his post.
Kearns has left the Yeltz only three months into the role after finding it difficult to attract investment due to the current financial climate.
Club manager and owner Morell Maison said: “We wish Martin all the best for the future.
“In the current climate he has been unable to hit the targets he had set himself and therefore he felt he would best serve the club by stepping down.
“We are in the process of talking to one or two people but there is nothing sorted as yet.”
