Halesowen Town 0 Solihull Moors 4

Halesowen Town were handed a resounding friendly defeat by a rampant Solihull Moors.
After a bright start from the hosts, the visitors went in front on 11 minutes when Daniel Spencer was granted the freedom of the penalty area to head home Michael Blackwood’s corner.
The latter sent a free-kick zipping just over the bar soon after, while Knight drilled a shot just wide of Paul Evans’ post.
Ben Haseley was Halesowen’s liveliest player but his chances were limited, while the visitors always looked dangerous.
Omar Bogle was guilty of a horrendous miss after being played through but made up for it seconds later, when he latched onto a poor Scott Embrey backpass and rounded Evans to double the lead.
Gary Birch’s close range header then ended the game as a contest moments before the break.
Solihull had the luxury of changing their entire team at half-time and were less dominant in the second half.
But they still recorded the only goal, Pavel Tomczak sweeping home the rebound after Dior Angus had seen his shot saved by Evans.
Substitute Jason Wellings nearly gave the Yeltz late consolation with the last kick but flashed his shot wide.
