CRADLEY Town have reinforced their strike options by bringing in Patrick Sikora on a month’s loan from Alvechurch.
Sikora has played in the Polish League and Cradley boss Nigel Birch said: “He’s looking to play at a higher level, but it will suit us because we’re missing so many chances at the moment and I need more competition for places up front.”
Birch has also brought in experienced central defender Wayne Brown, who was previously with Black Country Rangers and Willenhall Town.
Brown looks set to make his debut on Saturday when Cradley travel to Tipton based Bustleholme.
Cradley lost out 3-2 at Sporting Khalsa last Saturday when all the goals arrived in the first half.
Birch said: “Khalsa play on a very small pitch and I think it caught us out in the first half. After the break, we threw the kitchen sink at them, but couldn’t score”.
