HALAS Hawks U11s Girls began their league campaign in style with a comfortable 13-1 win over Santiago Colts.

Goals came from Bethan Bryan (4), Lucy Heaselgrave (3), Sophie Heaselgrave (2), Amy Plimmer, Abigail Gennard, Louise Tromans and a thunderbolt from Esme Moran.

The U12s hit two early goals in their 5-1 demolition of Tipton, Amy Blakemore the hero as she bagged all five goals. There was an impressive debut for Keziah Allard in defence.

The U13s enjoyed a fine start to the season against Smethwick Utd as they ran out 17-3 winners. Sam King and Alison Dowen scored three and five goals respectively, with Elisha Rose, Jess Morton and Paige Dudley also hitting the target.

Lauren Taylor struck a second half equaliser to give the U14s a deserved 1-1 draw with Droitwich Spa Lions.

Boys league

The U9s West earned a hard fought 3-2 win against Black Country Rangers. Goals from Josh Sharp and Josh Beasley twice put them in front but they were pegged back on both occasions.

A fine solo effort from Josh Parsons sealed the win with virtually the last kick of the game.

The U10s East were unlucky not to come away with the three points against Netherton but had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Eaarly goals from Matt Hancox ensured Halas kept hold of a much deserved lead but Netherton scored with the last kick of the game against the run of play to share the points.

The U11s West were beaten 3-1 by Bearwood Sports, Matt Jones scoring a penalty.

Halas Dynamos 1 Netherton 5 Reece Colley put the U11s Dynamos a goal up against Netherton Colts but that was as good as it got as they eventually went down 5-1.

The U12s also suffered defeat with a 2-1 loss against Warley, their consolation goal scored by Connor Leak.

The U15s travelled to Oldbury Park where they went down 1-0.

A brace from Ben Hancox and a fine effort from Amin Ali put the U16s three goals up against Wordsley Wasps East but a second half turnaround saw it finish 3-3.

Wordsley Wasps

Wordsley Wasps U12s East won 5-1 at Pensnett Harriers, goals from Sam Rogerson (2) Jack Fegan (2_ and a penalty from George Nokes sealing victory.

Forest Falcons

Forest Falcons played a mid week game away against Gornal colts north and drew 3 - 3 with goals from Joel Atkins, Alex Hall and Josh Dowler. Man of Match going to Luke Tandy.

On Sunday they played at home against Dudley Dynamos and drew 1 -1 with a goal from Tom Rhodes who was also man of the match.

The U12s East hosted Brierley and Hagley Celtic and went down 2-0 thanks to a brace from Celtic’s Richard Hanson, with Joe Shaw the star performer.

Brierley Hill Bullets

Brierley Hill Bulletts U11 South won 6-2 against Kewford, Jake Powers grabbing a hat-trick and man-of-the-match accolade with Travis James, Jack Cutler and Matthew Tarr also finding the target.

A brace from Jake Pritchard was not enought to stop the U11 West going down 5-3 to Warley Borough, though there was better news for the U13s who won 4-0 against Stourbridge Glassboys thanks to Tom Martin (2), Jack Nethercott (1) and Jacob Nicholls.

The U14 West won 6-1 against Perrywoods United, Luke Beatrup (2), Kai Cartwright, James Cole, Kieran Brzier and Danny Hall the scorers.

It was a case of seventh heaven for the U14s East who beat Netherton Colts 7-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Aiden Leddington, a double from Jack Parkes and strikes from Luke Jones and Connor Tromans.

The U15s won 4-0 against Gornal Panthers, scorers were Luke Jones (2) and Jake Brown (2).

Halesowen Town Colts

Olise Priest grabbed a last gasp equaliser for Halesowen Town Colts to seal a 3-3 draw with West Hagley West.

Colts raced into a 2 goal lead through Callum Allchurch and Priest only for West Hagley West to reverse fortunes and take a 3-2 lead with just minutes before the final whistle.

An excellent performance from Man Of the Match Jake Faulkner in goal kept the Colts in the game before Olise's last minute strike.

The U12s suffered their first defeat of the season with an 8-2 reversal against Kingswinford West.

Colts twice went in front thanks to Sam Croft and jack Cullen but were pegged back on both occasions, before Kingswinford powered away to victory.

The U14s faced a strong Bromsgrove in their opening Home game of the season and ran out 3-1 winners in a game full of chances for both sides.

Wonder Boy Dan Smith opened the scoring for The Yeltz in the first half before Bromsgrove levelled on the stroke of half time.

The second half saw Halesowen dominate and score two great goals through Luke Garrington and Steve Mullaney to seal all three points Romsley Rangers beat Sedgley Scorpions 3-0, with goals from Duane Gayle, Scott Moore and Richard Smith.

Dudley Sports

Dudley Sports U14s Won 7-1 against Bilbrook with hat-tricks from Damien Burton and Alex Malcolm and Mitchell Pountney grabbing a single goal. Burton took the man of the match award.

The U9s lost 3-0 away to Phoenix, the U10s drew 1-1 with Cobras FC, while the U11s Won 5-3 against AFC Kingswinford.

The U15 girls were 5-0 winners over Peopleton Junior girls.
