Halesowen Town's promotion credentials are set to be put to the test over the Easter Bank Holiday as they go head-to-head with two of their major rivals.

The Yeltz, who currently sit second in the BGB Premier Division after picking up three points at Cheshunt last weekend, will host eighth placed Brackley on Saturday (3pm kick-off) before travelling to league leaders Team Bath on Monday at Twerton Park (3pm kick-off).

Manager Morell Maison believes the weekend will be a real test of their resolve.

He said: "This is a real big weekend for us and from the fixtures we have remaining these are in my opinion the toughest two.

"Depending on results elsewhere it could be a pivitol weekend in the championship race.

"We are not going to be intimidated by these fixtures because when you are aiming for promotion like we are you need to beat the best."

The manager will be able to call upon the services of new signing Andy Hall for the crunch clashes.

Maison snapped the 22-year-old winger up on loan from Kettering Town.

The manager worked with the playerwhile he was in charge there and is delighted he has been able to tempt the former Coventry City apprentice to the Grove.

He said: "He's young, dynamic and full of energy and I'm sure he will turn out to be a real fans favourite."

While one player has joined two have departed with defender Scott Lycett returning to Congleton Town and Leao Unjanque leaving for Portugal.

The manager is hopeful left back David Perpetuini will have recovered from illness for the weekend although he's resigned to being without Zema Abbey for another week.
