CHAIRMAN Brian Blakemore wants Lye Town's players to bounce back after their double cup exit.
Lye crashed out of the FA Vase last Saturday when losing 2-1 at home to Pegasus Juniors.
They then fell at the first hurdle when aiming to defend their Birmingham Senior Urn title away to Studley on Tuesday night. They also lost the tie 2-1.
"It was very disappointing to go out of both cup competitions," said Blakemore. "We have been playing reasonably well but have been guilty of failing to turn possession into scoring chances."
Lye will now welcome league leaders Basford United to Stourbridge Road this Saturday.
Blakemore added: "We were playing well in the league before we had a break for the cup games so it would be good if we can bounce straight back.
"It will be tough because Basford are looking like one of the strongest sides in the division. It is a good opportunity to test ourselves against their squad."
