STEVE Austin says he hopes Dudley Town will finally be able to get their just rewards as the season progresses.

The chairman feels they haven't got the points they deserve from their games so far.

The Robins have now made a few additions to their squad to try and improve their current league position of 17th.

Defender Callum Haynes and wide man Jack Davis have linked up with the team ahead of the busy Christmas period.

They were left frustrated by the weather last Saturday when their home game against Wellington was postponed due to waterlogged pitch.

"It does feel like a slight transition period for us as we look to bring in a few more players," said Austin. "I don't think we've got points we have deserved from our games so far.

"We have played really well at times so hopefully some new additions will help us start to realise that potential."

Town are set to take on Sporting Khalsa in the league cup tonight. The current league leaders are managed by former boss Ian Rowe and boast a number of former Dudley players in their ranks.

Nigel Kirkham's men will travel to take on Haughmond this Saturday.
