CAUSEWAY United boss Mark Jones says there will be no pressure on his players when they face local rivals Lye Town on Easter Monday.

When the sides met earlier in the season it saw Lye win 8-0 and previous manager Andy Mole step down.

Jones says his players will want to set the record straight but will be under no pressure.

"We will be massive underdogs and have nothing to lose," said the manager.

"They are third and we are 15th so there will be no expectations."

Before the derby game, Causeway will take on Loughborough University at The Grove this Saturday.

United go into the weekend's fixtures after a 1-0 away victory against Stourport Swifts last Saturday.

Scott Stevenson hit the only goal of the game to hand his side the points.

Jones was full of praise for the way his side bounced back from defeat against Boldmere St Michaels the week before.

He said: "The players reacted really well and could have won by even more if we'd have taken our chances.

"I asked the players for a response and that was what I got."
