CRADLEY boss Will Pottinger is warning his riders to take nothing for granted when Kent visit Perry Barr next Wednesday (7.30).

The Heathens have already secured an away win over the Kings and are hunting down a league double against the Sittingbourne side.

But Pottinger says their win in Kent was helped by the timing and nothing will be easy next week.

“We won at Kent earlier in the season when they hadn’t really got off the mark and were struggling through injuries of their own,” he said.

“That was an important four points for us and that result could prove so, so vital come the end of the season. But I’m sure Kent will be out to get some revenge so we’ll certainly have to be on our guard.

“They’ve got a good top end to their team with Ben Morley, James Shanes and Aaron Baseby and Danny Ayres is also in good scoring form too so they’re all capable of putting in good performances on their day.

“We need to make sure we’re all at it if we want pick up three more league points and keep our unbeaten league start at Perry Barr going.

“It’s disappointing that we’ll have had to wait a fortnight from our last meeting to race again so hopefully some of the boys will be able to get practicing and hopefully some of the others can get some good scores for their Premier League teams.

“After Kent, we’ve got two really big meetings in Mildenhall and Birmingham who are both going to be challenging come the end of the season so we need to be looking at making sure we do pick up all three league points available next Wednesday to give us a tiny bit of breathing space and keep us in a good position.”
