STUART Hillman hit a late leveller for Dudley Sports to ensure honours ended even against Dudley Town in last Saturday’s derby encounter.
Shawn Devonport had handed The Robins a first-half lead before Hillman made sure the points were shared at the Dell.
Sports were then denied a winner when Aaron Gordon was thwarted by the linesman’s flag.
Town chairman Steve Austin was disappointed to let the lead slip, but said a draw was a fair result.
“We played well, but just couldn’t close the game out. It is frustrating, but I think a draw is fair overall.
“We have become draw specialists at the moment, so must look to turn those points to wins. I’m confident that will happen now that we have a fully-fit squad.”
The Robins will travel to Wellington Amateurs this Saturday.
However, Sports boss Tony Gore thought his side deserved a win.
He said: “I thought we did enough to win it, but gave ourselves a lot to do by not starting well.
“We limited them to very few chances and enjoyed a lot of possession.
“Once we got the equaliser, I thought we could have gone on to win.We peppered their goal, but just couldn’t make another breakthrough.”
Sports go to Bromsgrove Sporting this weekend in the FA Vase.
They will be without Curtis Cocking after the midfielder was ruled out for up to three months with a wrist injury.
