DUDLEY Sports boss Tony Gore is preparing his troops for a tough run of games in the West Midlands Premier.

Sports will face second-placed Haughmond next Tuesday and fourth-placed AFC Bridgnorth next Saturday.

Gore has extra time to ready his players as they don't have a fixture this weekend.

They will have to wait a little longer to return to league action after crashing out of the FA Vase against Bromsgrove Sporting last Saturday.

Dudley conceded two first half goals before Stuart Hillman halved the deficit. Sporting broke late to complete the 3-1 victory.

"It was a tough game and we're disappointed to go out," admitted Gore. "We did well to come back strong and it was a pretty good performance from us overall.

"We now have a difficult run of fixtures coming up so have to be ready for that.

"It will be a good test for us against sides up at the top of the table. It's frustrating not to have a game this Saturday but all we can do is look ahead to the Haughmond game."

Sports remain without Curtis Cocking (wrist) and Josh Taylor (toe) is doubtful. Shane Priest should return.
