STOURBRIDGE'S rising table tennis talent Charlotte Bardsley enhanced her growing reputation when she represented England at the Hungarian Junior and Cadet Open which took place in Szombathely.
Charlotte, who is 13 years old and attends Heathfield School was taking on rivals who were up to two years older.
The highlight for Charlotte was her victory over Serbia's Reka Bezeg who she beat in the team event 11-6, 4-11, 11-5, 11-2.
Charlotte was eliminated in the singles losing 3-0 to Poland's Anna Wegrzyn and then went down 3-2 to Spain's Carmen Henares, although Charlotte showed great fighting spirit when coming from 2-0 down to level the match.
Bardsley partnered Denise Payet in the doubles but they were eliminated in the first round.
