Gornal Athletic name Matt Whitehouse as new boss
GORNAL Athletic have announced former Willenhall Town boss Matt Whitehouse as the club's new manager.
The Peacocks started interviewing a shortlist of seven candidates to replace ex-boss Andy Wyton last week.
Wyton stepped down earlier in the season after a disappointing campaign before under-21 manager Lee Glasby took over in a caretaker capacity.
Whitehouse, who was also a former player at Oldbury United, Rushall Olympic and Willenhall, will now take charge at Garden Walk for the remaining five games of the season.
