YOUNG players at Enville Cricket Club shared a training session with a political big hitter - South Staffordshire MP Gavin Williamson.
The club, which was founded in 1821, has 120 young members who take part in the outdoor junior practice.
Coaching sessions are between 6.30pm to 8.00pm each Friday at the club in the grounds of Enville Hall on Hall Drive.
The club is encouraging more boys and girls from under 9 to under 16 age groups to join.
Gavin Williamson MP said: “Enville Cricket Club is a significant community asset. The standard of cricket played at the club is exceptional and I was delighted to meet and speak to the younger members of the club to hear about their summer coaching sessions.
"I would encourage as many young people to get involved as possible and get outside and onto the cricket pitch this summer.”
