CHARLOTTE Bardsley returned from the Lithuania Cadet and Mini Cadet Open with a bronze medal.
The 13-year-old Stourbridge player partnered Denise Payet in the team event and the pair won their group and then beat Estonia C in the quarter-finals.
Their run was ended in the last four by Ukraine B, although England led 2-1 before going down 3-2 as Payet won her first singles match and the English pair took the doubles.
Bardsley, who attends Heathfield School, had the consolation of a bronze medal, though, awarded to both losing semi-finalists.
Bardsley won her group in the Cadet Singles to advance to the last 16, where she beat Anastasiya Yepifantseva of Ukraine 3-0. However, her run ended in the quarter-finals, 3-0 at the hands of another Ukrainian, Oleksandra Tsiupko.
Bardsley has recently helped England to win a team bronze medal at the Cadet Six Nations competition in France.
They beat France B and Germany 6-4, Denmark 10-0, drew 5-5 with Sweden but lost 6-4 to winners France A.
