HALESOWEN Town boss John Hill has praised the fans after the club announced record season ticket sales.

After a very successful early bird campaign, sales are continuing and the Yeltz have currently sold over 60 per cent more season tickets than for the entirety of last season.

It is believed that season ticket sales are at their highest level ever.

Dave Hawley, head of membership and media, said: “The number of season tickets we’ve sold so far has been fantastic, we would like to thank the Yeltz fans who renew season upon season, as well as a large number who have purchased a season ticket for the first time.

“The number of under-16 sales and under-12 passes given out has also increased, which will only add to the family atmosphere we are becoming increasing admired for.

“I’ve spoken to a few fans who have told me that they plan to buy a flexible season ticket once our fixtures are out, so they can check our fixtures against other commitments.

“The flexi ticket, where fans get to watch 12 games of their choice for the price of eight, has proved to be very popular since first being launched last season.’’ Yeltz boss Hill also heaped praise on the Halesowen faithful, adding: “In these days where the Premier League and televised football seems to rule, on behalf of the management, staff and players I’d like to thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you, old and new, at The Grove and on our travels in the upcoming season. You are our 12th man.”

All season tickets will continue to be on sale at the home friendlies, with the flexible season tickets available well into the start of the new season.

Season tickets, as well as the new replica kit, are also available from the club’s brand new online shop, which has been launched this week in conjunction with kit suppliers Ace Embroidery.
