MANAGER Dave King admits his side were intimidated by league leaders Alvechurch last Saturday.

Tivi lost 4-0 against the side now managed by former boss Ian Long.

King said: "They are top of the league for a reason and I think we were a little intimidated in the first half, which was a surprise. We also didn't keep the ball well "We did much better in the second half but couldn't recover.

"We just have to put it to bed now and move on. We have been doing really well recently so need to get back to that mindset."

Tivi don't have a game this Saturday but will then have to face Alvchurch again in the JW Hunt Cup. That game will be played at the Beeches next Tuesday (7.45pm kick-off).

King said he may used the match as an opportunity to assess some of his side's fringe players. Craig Stevens will be suspended.

The boss at the Beeches is also on the look out for new addition to his squad and could finalise a deal this week.
