HALESOWEN Town have unveiled their new kits for the 2017-18 season, with fans able to have their own name added to the back of the shirts for the first time ever.

Yeltz have unveiled a new design home shirt, but still retaining the traditional blue, while last season's away shirt of yellow and black is unchanged.

Both shirts will bear the logo of the club’s new main club sponsor Mapei following the sponsorship deal announced last week.

But fans who are desperate to have their shirts personalised now can after the club joined forces with Ace Embroidery, allowing supporters to have a name, number – or both – added to the back of the jerseys.

Pre-orders are now being taken for the kit via the Ace Embroidery online shop, while the club shop at The Grove will be taking pre-orders on July 15 and 22.

A club spokesman said: “The club are delighted to have the continued support of Ace Embroidery and thank everyone there for their hard work and commitment.

“We are also grateful to another of our club sponsors, Stewardson Developments, who have agreed once again to subsidise the costs of the shirts, I'm sure you will all agree this is a fantastic gesture.”

There will be a few new faces, as well as some recognisable ones, wearing the new shirts on the pitch this season as the club announce the re-singing of former Yeltz midfielder Jordan Goddard.

The Wolverhampton-born left the club midway through last season to join Leamington, but was a hit with the Halesowen faithful with his set piece ability and creativity in the final third where he provided many assists as well as goals.

Two other players who have committed themselves this season are veteran defender Asa Charlton, who made his 200th appearance last season, and fellow centre back Kyle Morrison, who will be looking to reach 100 appearances for the club.
