STOURBRIDGE Chess Club are well placed in their Birmingham League clash with Warley Quinborne.

Victories for Nic Fallowfield and John Foxall gave saw Stour win both of the boards played last week, with the four adjourned boards set to be played on October 17.

Fallowfield ended a pawn up and with a great pawn structure against Simon Smith, while Foxall recorded a win against Alan Burnett.
