LeBron James continued his recent impressive form to fire the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 120-112 victory over the Oklahoma Thunder.

Away from home, James dominated the game, scoring 37 points with eight rebounds and eight assists, and putting the Cavs on a four-game winning streak.

Fourteen of James’ points came in the first five minutes and, while Oklahoma continued to put up a fight, the Cavs were leading 62-57 at halftime.

By the fourth, the Cavs were in control and sealed the win with a dunk from Larry Nance Jr, who is making up the new-look Cavs alongside George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson.

Elsewhere, James Harden scored 34 points as the Houston Rockets overcame the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-108.

The fourth quarter proved to be the difference as the Rockets made 10 three-pointers to seal nine wins in a row.

Minnesota had hoped to extend their near-record 13-game home winning streak, and while they got off to a good start, leading by 13 in the first quarter, the Rockets pulled ahead by half-time and saw out the win thanks to a flurry of three-pointers from Ryan Anderson in the fourth.

Meanwhile the Toronto Raptors narrowly beat the Miami Heat to claim their sixth straight win.

DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points and Kyle Lowry made 22 but the Raptors were made to sweat in the final stages and almost lost their 15-point lead.

Miami fought back to add 13 in the fourth but their efforts fell short as the game closed 115-112 to the Raptors.

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 97-92, while the Sacramento Kings overcame the Dallas Mavericks 114-109 and the Denver Nuggets beat the San Antonio Spurs 117-109.
