WORCESTERSHIRE'S oldest former first-class cricketer Harry George Moule has died.
Kidderminster-born Moule died in his 95th year in Barnstaple, Devon, on June 15.
He made one appearance for the County against Cambridge University at New Road in 1952.
Moule opened the batting with Norman Whiting, scoring 45 and 57 against a strong side.
Whiting, who died two years ago aged 93, was Worcestershire’s previous oldest cricketer.
Moule had a long career in club cricket and once captained a Birmingham and District Premier League representative team.
He retired to Fremington and watched the cricket at nearby Instow, the home of North Devon CC.
